Specialty Overview
At Satyam Diagnostics Pvt. Ltd., we offer high-resolution digital mammography to help in the early detection and diagnosis of breast conditions, including breast cancer. Our goal is to provide accurate, safe, and comfortable imaging in a caring and supportive environment.
Procedure:
Before the Test
Avoid using deodorants, perfumes, powders, or creams on the day of the test as they can affect image quality.
Wear a two-piece outfit (you’ll need to remove clothing from the waist up).
Inform our staff if you're pregnant, breastfeeding, or have breast implants.
During the Test
You'll stand in front of the mammography machine.
Each breast is gently compressed between two plates to spread the tissue for clearer images.
Compression may cause slight discomfort but is very brief (a few seconds per image).
Typically, images are taken from two angles per breast.
